I used to be a teaching assistant many years ago. Since I took up hosting I started staying at home. We assist students in all the details.
We introduce students to Sunday breakfast, English breakfast and all the food you would expect. On a Sunday we would go together, play, show you this new environment and make our Student Guests feel comfortable and at Home.
Description as a Host
Being all new to Students, we know we have to take good care of you. We will see togehter what is best for you and answer any question about local food, customs, days out, public transport. We do take students to do the shopping too, to show you what is available and to understand what food you like and if you would like to try something new. I love cooking, it is one of the reasons I started hosting.

Detatched 6 bedroom house. 5 bathrooms. We have a very big open space downstaring. We have a quiet area. A separate Games/TV room. A Pretty large house.

Time Limits (Curfew, meal and other time limits)
Smoking only outside. We have a smoking zone outside with a smoking bid, definately not in the house, you would be leaving the next day. Curfew 10 pm time will not be applied to over 18 Student Guests. I am a Muslim and food will be Halal, everything but ham and pork (you may consume it outside but it will not be on the menu I love cooking, it is one of the reasons I started hosting. Most of the time I'm at home so we will not give keys to under 18 Student Guests.
Five 30 minute conversations
Included in the price, to speak about work or anything you like, to make sure the host engages professionally specifying what time to start the sessions, to make sure the students don't run out or off to their rooms.
These lessons may be done in the morning or afternoon, suggested times are 9.30 am to 10.30 am , half hour break, and again 11.00 am to 12.00 am from Monday to Friday.

These small group sessions shared by up to 4 students may be done in the morning or afternoon, suggested times are two sessions from 9.00 am to 10.30 am, break, and again 11.00 am to 12.30 am for a total of 20 lessons a week.

First day activity together
Included in the price the Host will do something with the Student Guest. There are no restrictions not to have the Host do the same things week after week. Typical activities are: day out with the family, visit to town, shopping, cooking..
