Included in the price, to speak about work or anything you like, to make sure the host engages professionally specifying what time to start the sessions, to make sure the students don't run out or off to their rooms.
These individual lessons may be done in the morning or afternoon, suggested times are 9.30 am to 10.30 am, half hour break, and again 11.00 am to 12.00 am from Monday to Friday.

These small group sessions shared by up to 4 students may be done in the morning or afternoon, suggested times are two sessions from 9.00 am to 10.30 am, break, and again 11.00 am to 12.30 am for a total of 20 lessons a week.

First day activity together
Included in the price the Host will do something with the Student Guest. There are no restrictions not to have the Host do the same things week after week. Typical activities are: day out with the family, visit to town, shopping, cooking..
Every afternoon and weekend day we will go visiting and doing activities together. The cost will be shared among our Student Guests. If you work part-time, we can arrange according to your work schedule, if you are going to have classes with us, we will have these in the morning, and do these activities in the afternoons.

Full board accommodation, with packed lunch (like sandwich, fruit and water) is included. Here are listed the types of diet we eat at home and that we would provide without extra charges. In general we eat traditional but also international food, breakfast is light and dinner our main meal. Your packed lunch will include one or two sandwiches, please let me know over the phone what you would like. For a vegan diet I would have to be notified in advance.

Elizabeth is a welcoming host. The thing I appreciated most about the experience was her availability to speak during the meals and even after. It's good experience to improve your speaking ability. The house is warm and clean, close to the bus stop, only 20 minutes' drive from the town centre. She loves also talking about the English ways of life. She took us on a bus trip to Southwell and explained everything about the place.

Hi, we enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth's house a lot. She is really welcoming and nice. She took us to visit lots of different interesting places and to know about Nottingham history. She also suggested us nice shops and things to do in our free time, that we really liked. We ate together and we talked a lot about our lives. We had a really good time. Thank you Elizabeth. Elizabeth was kind and welcoming. The house was nice and located in a nice neighbourhood. Unfortunately, me and my friends didn’t like the food at all. Moreover, Elizabeth didn’t bring us to explore the city during the weekend and, on the last day, she didn’t bring us to the meeting point; she called a taxi for us but we had to pay it.
Hello. Yes.True the boys did not like the food but I feel they were not here to eat pizza and pasta all week. That is not the purpose I coming to another country. The boys arrived late aftenoon on Sunday. They had pizza on the first evening. I took them to work on the first morning and told them to let me know when they were going to come home so that I could have a meal ready for them. They largely complied with my request other than when they wanted to meet up with fellow students a d their teacher. IGiven the constraints of my time and theirs I told them how to get to the castle after work. I have a small mini which I do not drive in to town because of ever changing road works etcetera which they would not appreciate. Regarding their early departure time they had to leave at 4.30 am in order to get to the pick up point for 5.10. At that time there is no public transport so the only alternative was to book a taxi for them given the antisocial hour.. Had they been able to take 2 buses to the pick -up point it would have cost them not much less than a taxi for 3 with their luggage. It was pouring with rain also. I am sorry if the boys feel they needed to complain about their stay. I appreciate that Mattia's placement was not particularly suitable but I am inclined to say that that is part of life as you learn to appreciate as one matures and in this instance it was entirely beyond my control I hope this answers some of your points of disappointment if there be any serious issues and I hope that when you are a little older you will appreciate the efforts made by both your parents and any future host with whom you may stay. Elisabeth is a wonderful person and now friend. I would recommend staying with her if you wish to live a typical English experience in Nottingham. Her house is clean and welcoming, with a lovely English garden. You can practice your English with a very entertaining, interesting and fun person.
Hello . I live in Nottingham in a suburb about 20 minutes from town. My house is in a quiet cul-de-sac with friendly neighbours. My house is not a Palace but it is light and airy and I try to keep it presentable!!! I always think of the healthy option as far as food is concerned. The host Elizabeth was very welcoming. She cooked very well and the house was very clean. She helped me to improve my English and during the weekend we visited Nottingham. I recommend Elizabeth and I hope to meet her again!
