Description as a Host
A family of three (plus one away at university), mum, dad and one son. Our youngest at home is 19 and our other son is 22. We are quiet, friendly and welcoming. My wife is from Thailand and cooks a delicious Thai curry. She also cooks plenty of British food. Guests are welcome to make themselves at home. No smoking please. Please note we are a pet free house. No pets. So we may be a good option for anyone allergic to dogs, cats etc. Our house is large, built in 1900 with that Victorian charm, clean, warm and spacious. Free wifi. Happy to cater to dietary requirements for free, such as vegetarian, vegan, Muslim, Jewish, allergies, please give us advance notice so we can prepare the menu.

Included in the price the Host will do something with the Student Guest. There are no restrictions not to have the Host do the same things week after week. Typical activities are: day out with the family, visit to town, shopping, cooking..

It was a good experience overall. Co-workers were kind to me and very available to help me. The femily were kind and normal, the food they cooked was really good. The weekend I went to the Robin Hood Museum. It was a beutiful experixence both the museum and the time there.

Great host and very nice family. Ian in particular is the one I spent more time with. He is very friendly and welcoming and took good care of me: he took me out to see places of interest on my day off and always happy to watch a movie with me in the evening.
