We started hosting back in 1989 when money was short we grew to love what we did meeting all the different students from all over the world its amazing we have students who come back to us.
the tram goes from outside of my house straight into the heart of city. There are also many bus routes.

Ive always had a lot people around me as i come from a family of 15 including mum and dad i have 3 grown up girls which have now lift home and making there way in life but i have a little girl called Olivia which is my grandchildren which live with me and my husband keith ive looked after 1000s af children over the past 30years which i still in contact with alot of them if the weather is nice i do try and take you out to see part of the English heritage like shrewood forest .wolaton hall .or it could be rufford abbey that depends on what time of year you come and what days you come i look forward in meeting you .we are 2 minutes walk from the tram stop which will take you straight into the heart of the city

These small group sessions shared by up to 4 students may be done in the morning or afternoon, suggested times are two sessions from 9.00 am to 10.30 am, break, and again 11.00 am to 12.30 am for a total of 20 lessons a week.

First day activity together
Included in the price the Host will do something with the Student Guest. There are no restrictions not to have the Host do the same things week after week. Typical activities are: day out with the family, visit to town, shopping, cooking..
Every afternoon and weekend day we will go visiting and doing activities together. The cost will be shared among our Student Guests. If you work part-time, we can arrange according to your work schedule, if you are going to have classes with us, we will have these in the morning, and do these activities in the afternoons.

Full board accommodation, with packed lunch (like sandwich, fruit and water) is included. Here are listed the types of diet we eat at home and that we would provide without extra charges. In general we eat traditional but also international food, breakfast is light and dinner our main meal. Your packed lunch will include one or two sandwiches, please let me know over the phone what you would like. You will have to pay for the extra ingredients, we will buy them first chance tougher.

Any Student that wants to go to London it's £50 per person: the trip to London to sightsee is possible on a Saturday. Anyone interested in going let me know before you come to England so I can book the tickets for the bus and sort out a program for the day of the excursion

Il primo giorno sono stata accompagnata a visitare la città, il posto di lavoro e mi sono stati mostrati i trasporti con le relative fermate. La casa e la camera erano spaziose e pulitissime. Il cibo ottimo e non mancava mai. Sono stati veramente perfetti e nel weekend mi hanno portato in gita a Londra! Consiglio a tutti questa stupenda famiglia.

The host Kat was really welcoming and available. The firt day we went to see the workplace and then around town. Whenever I needed help my school house host family was available.
