I can also organise for horse riding at a local riding school. I would help orgnising extra activities like tennis, ice-skating - swimming and anything. There is much to do in Nottingham and I will make sure you enjoy it.

Description as a Host
I started hosting in 1999. I started teaching English as a foreign language in the same year, when I got my TEFL certificate. I love grammar and can provide exam preparation lessons. I tailor the lessons covering topics the students are interested in (sports, pop music, whatever). I like going to museums, visiting town, horse riding. Description
4 bedroom large house. Students usually use the attic room, with its own washroom (sink and toilet - not shower en-suite). It's located in lovely borough (West Bridgford) in front of a large park and walking distance form shops, bars and all services. It will be abuot 15 minutes into town, you could even walk or cycle into town.

I give the keys only after a day or two if I find them responsible enough. Curfew is 10 PM for the underage. You cannot shower or make noise if you come back late (after 9PM). We switch off Wi-fi at night.
Five 30 minute conversations
Included in the price, to speak about work or anything you like, to make sure the host engages professionally specifying what time to start the sessions, to make sure the students don't run out or off to their rooms.
These lessons may be done in the morning or afternoon, suggested times are 9.30 am to 10.30 am , half hour break, and again 11.00 am to 12.00 am from Monday to Friday.

First day activity together
Included in the price the Host will do something with the Student Guest. There are no restrictions not to have the Host do the same things week after week. Typical activities are: day out with the family, visit to town, shopping, cooking..
Every afternoon and weekend day we will go visiting and doing activities together. The cost will be shared among our Student Guests. If you work part-time, we can arrange according to your work schedule, if you are going to have classes with us, we will have these in the morning, and do these activities in the afternoons.

The house is near a library and the shops. The location is lovely and well served by public transport (10 minutes from the city centre). The host (Barbara) is very friendly, cheerful and helpful. She explains grammar very well and helps students to improve their vocabulary and their pronunciation. The timetable of classes is flexible.
Excellent access for the airport, trains and buses. City centre is only 10 minutes away. Very nice residential area, with a beautiful park in the centre.
